Fill your bowl to the brim
and it will spill.
Keep sharpening your knife
and it will blunt.
Chase after money and security
and your heart will never unclench.
Care about people’s approval
and you will be their prisoner.

Do your work, then step back.
The only path to serenity.

The real reason we're STUCK.

"What separates the few who ship from the masses who stumble, stall and ultimately surrender?"

I kind of miss having orange nails.

A struggle it is indeed.

“Creativity is essentially a lonely art. An even lonelier struggle. To some a blessing. To others a curse. It is in reality the ability to reach inside yourself and drag forth from your very soul an idea.”
 - Lou Dorfsman
“You need not leave your room. Remain sitting at your table and listen. You need not even listen, simply wait, just learn to become quiet, and still, and solitary. The world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked. It has no choice; it will roll in ecstasy at your feet.”
- Franz Kafka, on using solitude to gain creativity.

Yes, I am here to remind how small you really are. :-J

We are the new definition of SMALL. Lesser than space dust even.
And here I am worrying about my troubles, when in fact all of them are pretty meaningless, compared to the vastness of the heavens out and above us. When there are worlds and worlds of new possibilites that can break the foundations of everything we ever believed in, yes, even shatter our concepts, our puny, sad existence. (Read about new theories about the universe, its expansion is accelarating! Not deccelarating! Uh-oh?)

We have a good habit of forgetting. Even Da Vinci and Einstein may well turn over their graves if they knew what we now could see through Hubble. Take the time to look and enjoy. :)
